Table Dialog - Methods Tab Help

Using this tab-panel you can create a new Method of the current Table or modify an existed one.

INFO: Table Method is a calculated field that calculates its value on the fly using other fields and methods and functions and operators of the Valentina SQL expression.

Methods are very similar to regular Fields by its behavior, so please read details about Fields tab-panel.

The only difference for methods is edit field “Method Text” in the “Details” area. Here you must define valid expression for your calculated field. In case of mistake, you will be able correct expression later at any time.
