Tool: Start Page

The Start Page of Valentina Studio provides the quick access and capabilities to manage connections, local databases and projects.

• Bookmarks - The list of bookmarks. On the start page you can:
  • open bookmark in connect dialog.
  • open connection for particular bookmark.
  • delete bookmark.
• Bonjour - The list of active bonjour services. On the start page you can:
  • observe bonjour servers.

• open connection for particular server.
• Recent Connections - The list of recent connections. On the start page you can:
• observe the list of recent connections.
• open the recent connection in connect dialog.
• open the recent connection.
• delete the recent connection from the list.

• Add Bookmark – you can create bookmark for frequently visited database servers.
• Connect To Server – you can connect to any database server invoking the Connect Dialog form start page.

The Local Databases panel on the start page provides next possibilities:

• quick access to recent local Valenina databases.
• quick access to recent SQLite databases.
• create new local Valenina database.
• create new SQLite database.
• open local Valenina database.
• open SQLite database.

The Projects panel on the start page provides next possibilities:

• quick access to recent server projects.
• quick access to recent local projects.
• ability to create new server project.
• ability to create new local project.
• open project on remote server.
• open local project.
