Import Wizard - Import From Text Help
In this page you can to define relationship between fields in data file and target table, and to tune import options.
Options of CSV Format
- Field Delimiter - Determines character that will be used as a field delimiter. You can select one of the standart delimiters like SPACE, COMMA, SEMICOLON, COLON. Also you can assign custom delimiter - switch radiobutton to *Other* and set a character in corresponding text field.
- Line Delimiter - Determines character that will be used as a line delimiter. You can select one of the standart delimiters for your OS - Mac OS (up to 9), MSDOS, UNIX. Also you can assign custom delimiter - switch radiobutton to *Other* and set a character in corresponding text field.
- Other Parameters - Determines additional data file options:
- Encoding - Determines encoding of the exported file - UTF8 or UTF16.
- Limit Records - Determines amount of records for loading from data file..
Fields of Target Table
- List of Fields – The list of existing fields in the selected table.
- Smart Mapping – Makes automatically mapping the table fields to the the columns of source file.
- Clear Fields Mapping – Canceling the mapping.
- Create Field – Invokes the dialog to create a new field in the selected table.
Import Map of File
- Table – The sample of data loaded from the source file.
- Reload File – Reload data from the source file.
- Select File – Invokes the dialog to select a new source file.
