Record Menu Help
The Record menu allows you to modify records in the Data Editor.
This menu is enabled only if a Data Editor is active.
Creates a new record and move the cursor into the first field of that new record so you can start type.
New Related Record
Creates a new record in the related Table and move the cursor into the first field of that new record so you can start type.
Delete All Records...
Opens a Confirm dialog to confirm if you want to delete all records from the table.
Immediately deletes selected records.
Opens a Confirm dialog to confirm the removal of all rows from a table, but leave the table structure, columns, constraints, indexes, and the rest unchanged.
Mark All Records
Marks all records in the table.
Unmark All Records
Unmarks all records in the table.
Show All Records
Displays all records in the table.
Show Marked Only
Displays only the marked records in the table.
Hide Marked Records
Hides all marked records in the table.
Add Filter Row
Adds one more FILTER row (green color) on the top of Table Editor. You can add few FILTER rows. If exists at least one FILTER row then WHERE row becomes disabled.
Add Filter Row with Cell Value
Add 'Where' Row
Adds a single WHERE row on the top of Table Editor. If exists WHERE row then FILTER row becomes disabled.
Filter by Cell Value
Removes the FILTER/WHERE row. This forces also all records to be shown.
Remove Last Filter Row
Removes the last filter added without applying other changes to filters.
Applies conditions of the filter to select and show subset of records in the Table.
Filter to SQL
Transforms the filters into SQL and opens the result in the SQL Editor.
Display and define special data objects. This allows you to define some additional view options for the Data Editor. The following options may be switched on or off. This sub-menu is available only for Valentina Database format databases and displays properties only available in that format.
Shows the RecID of each record as the first column of grid.
Shows the OID of each record the first or the second column of grid.
Shows calculated fields of the table.
