Hello,
i have a question.

I want to buy Database Valentina studio for Linux.

I tried Valentina studio for Free (and its really nice. Works on various Linux distributions without problem :)).
But int the "Free version" there is no way how to update "CHECK" constraint (and more).
So, my question is what is difference between PRO and free?
I cannot find list of differences on the web (yeah, there is a section "Key features" but it's not help me)

Thanks,
John

=========== Mantis Info =====================
It is better to report such issue(s) into Mantis - our bug tracker.

Hello,

i found one missing feature.
In mySQL i cannot create FUNCTION only STORED PROCEDURE.

Is there any chance to add "CREATE FUNCTION" feature to the Valentina DB studio?

Thanks,
John

Hello,

yes, i am using MariaDB instead of MySQL (not only "compatibility" plugin for MySQL, currently -> mariadb-server-10 in Debian testing).

> Are there other important features of that kind which are missing?

I did not find any more missing features... (now :))

Thanks a lot,
John

Thank you, so this is a MariaDB extension, right? Because MySQL didn't have CHECK constraints initially.
I think we can add it.

Are there other important features of that kind which are missing?

Hello,

i am currently using MySQL/MariaDB (Versions under Debian testing).

If I click on the "table" in EER diagram and choose constraints --> I see only "Primary key", "Uniques", "Foreign keys".

Thanks a lot,
John

Hello John,

Here's that list

But what kind of database do you use? Editing of check constraint should work even in a free version.
