1. I've got several questions with changing the database directory.

What should happen if I change the database directory? Should the databases change the directory? Should I change them myself? See screenshot 1. I changed the directory. Some databases have been copied to the new location (master, usergroups). One database (mail archiver) has not been copied.

2. I've accidentally deleted the new folder that I made.

vserver.ini shows the correct path.

; The path, where sysdatabase are stored.
SYSTEMFOLDER = /Users/beatrixwillius/Desktop/untitled folder

Valentina Studio does not show the path. See screenshot 2.

3. If I now create a database with my server management interface. It's created at dev/0 without any error. It's there but not really. See screenshot 3 from VStudio.

2 + 3 are bugs. But what should happen for 1?

Changing db directory in the INI, you just tell vServer where dbs are located. It's your responsibility to move old databases (new ones will be created there). Then, register them to the master (unregister old ones first if you have copied "old" master db).

Master db is created by vServer self (if it is absent). So vServer sees no master db in the "new" location and creates new one (not a copy - just new master db).

Changing this INI param do nothing for the running vServer instance. It will be applied on the next vServer start.

Copying the master.vdb makes sense. My app makes a copy of the usergroups.vdb so I need to watch out for that. Copying the databases to the new location also makes sense.

Of course, I had restarted the server. So issues 2+3 really are bugs. I'll add them to Mantis.
