Hi guys,

where can I find the documentation for the new feature:

ValentinaDB on macOS now supports a lock file policy for MacOS + “remote file system” (NAS, flash-drive).

Hi Beatrix,

here it is.

Nothing special, except the fact it exists

Should the lock file show up for all opened Valentina databases?

Database is open and has version 13:

I made the invisible files visible but there is no lock file in the directory:

It’s only for remote file systems.

Got it. I read the docs so that every macOS database should have the lock file.

There are 2 lock files: one for the database and one for the journal file.

I force-quit my app and then re-run it. I got the expected error message "It wasn't possible to open the archive "Mail Archive" for writing."
