Report Editor - 2D Function Chart Help

The report engine allows to build 2-dimensional charts for a function of one variable.

To assign a function for a chart double-click the chart control. After that the dialog window will appear where you can specify the basic parameters of the chart. To create a chart for 2D function – select the corresponding type of chart in the left panel of dialog where presented available types.

• Enabled – If ON current plot will be displayed on the chart.
• Function – The text of function, that should be represented on the chart.
• Ranges – The range of axes.
  • X – The range of the number axis X.
  • Y – The range of the number axis Y.
• Kind – The kind of chart.

Report engine allows to create the following 2D charts:

Area	Impulses
Boxes	Points
Line	Steps
Line and Points

The report engine allows you to create a chart with several plots. Each plot can display its own data received from independent sources.

To create an additional plot on your chart, you should go to another plot-tab in Source Data dialog and do the next steps:

• Switch Enable flag to ON.
• Set Function for the new plot.
• Select Kind for the new plot.

Also you can change the final view of chart using property inspector for the chart control.
