Terminal App
Q: HOW TO enable core dumps?
If you have VServer crashed, it will be very useful to send us core dump of crashed VServer.
The general way on different linux'es to enable core dumps is a terminal command:
ulimit -c unlimited
But, on some distributions it can be different. You should check the documentation of your distribution or ask around in your distributions community.
To check that core dumps are enabled, you can use the following command:
ulimit -c
The answer should be: “unlimited”.
Now, if VServer crashed, the system will create a file in the same directory as the VServer executable with the name “core” or “core.*”, where “*” - would be some numbers.
