Sitting in the BKeeney "printing with Xojo" session right now. Hoping for a free license

Registering for a free license. Thank you Bob Keeney for the "printing with Xojo" session.

I am very disappointed. I had many people come up to me after the session telling me they couldn't create a login on this website.

We can keep registration open for this through Monday. But I see several hundred new registrations on the website since yesterday, so its not something impacting most people.

When a registration is set up, an email gets sent to the end user. They have to validate it. First thing, they should check to see if they got it.

It could be a device issue. We haven't seen problems with iPads and iPhones for example, but that could be it there.

If you send me a list of attendees and their email addresses, I can put them into the pot as an alternative.

Hello, I asked Bob on the Xojo forum yesterday if anyone won something from the XDC 2015 contest.
Here was his reply:

So if nobody won anything, then I wouldn't mind winning the copy of Valentina ADK w/Valentina Studio for Mac and I would choose the reports ADK.
If people did win, but it was never announced, then please ignore my request. In that case better PR would have been to announce winners though. Now it looks like goods were promised, but nothing was delivered. not good PR in my opinion.
Especially combined with the fact that it was almost impossible to register when we were at XDC. Only two of us managed to get through.

As a matter of fact, since three copies of Valentina Studio were offered as price for the contest, if nobody won yet, I guess that would mean that Jeff Hamby should have won at least one of those

Hi Dirk,

It has been a while, so I could be mis-remembering. We offered contest prizes for it in a random way. We received a note from Bob that some people were having a problem logging in; when we asked what what happening so we could re-create and then solve the problem...we got no reply.

My thought is since it was a complete catastrophe that we will run a follow up contest instead. Ill have rules for this and a separate post in the next 2-3 hours.
