Hi,

I am trying to place a few table on top of the comment box to make it look like it is enclosed in a box (for categorization).
But all the Table Link line is hidden behind the comment box, see attached photo.

Is it possible to bring the line forward, so that it will be display on top of the comment box?

Hello,

No, currently it is impossible.
What if we add a property with options:
- draw links below all objects(default)
- above all objects
- hide lines (it was requested some time ago)

But if we draw lines on top - they can cover the tables, not sure if it will be fine in your case.

The other way is to add layers to group objects on the diagram.
We planned it but haven't implemented yet.

Hi,

Adding those 3 line property would be enough for my use, and it will be easier to implement than the group layer.

The line covering the Table won't be a problem for my case, as I don't place the table over the lines anyway.

Hi guys,

after discussion here and agree about a possible solution, the best next step
report feature request into Mantis, and maybe post here its number to join info in forum and mantis.

It is better if a user adds into mantis that request or bug report, because then he/she can monitor it, and maybe dev team will yet ask some questions in Mantis.
