Hello,

You can try to use a subreport for it.

Rectangles or picture should be placed on the main report, the records are printed by the subreport.

You can draw a rectangle around the subreport and set size_type property to Relative To Region - that way the rectangle will grow with the page body (preview_2.png).

Hello,

Subreport placed on the body of the main report works fine, but not in the page footer. I need to 2 subreports one in then body of main report and other in then page footer of the maingreport. What am I doing wrong ?

Regards,

Jaume

Hello Jaume,

It's not supported in the current version.
Could you please add an example of what you want to place there exactly? Is it correlated to the page body?

Looks like a summary. Is it possible to calculate it with a Summary control in the Page Footer of the subreport which shows details?

Are the subreports only supported in the body report ?

They are supported in headers, too.

Totals in the page footer is still a problem?
How exactly do you calculate totals?
In subreport, with a query which receives some ID as a parameter? Maybe you can move it to the main query?

Sorry for the delay

I can move it into the main query as long as the contains of page footer are printed only in the last page
is there any way to do that ?

Thank you

No,I'm sorry I can't move to the main query.

As far I I can see, the best solution is to pass 50 parameters to the report, but it requires a lot of code and mistakes.

As for a page footer on the last page - yes, it is supported (Last Page Footer region).

And these values can't be calculated in the subreport of the page body as a Summary control, right?
Maybe you can create a stored procedure which accepts the ID and performs calculations for this ID, and you can call this procedure in the expression.
