On Windows (v10) it seems that I cannot stop properly the server (v10.1).
I tried
- with API (myVServer.Shutdown) : no crash, but my vServer service is not stopped
- with Service application : Windows try to stop during a long period and, after an error message, it show the start button (as it was stopped).
In both case, the file master.vdb.journal is stil there. That make me think that it still in use or not properly stopped.
How am I supposed to stop properly the server in Windows ?
No problem in MacOS.

Unfortunately, as I use Bonjour service to connect to the server, it's not a workaround for me.
Or do you say that this error could lead other issue and it's preferable to stop using it ?

No, it should be an error. Please try to disable Bonjour in the ini - at least as workaround.

Hello,
Tested the new 10.1.2 release : Stopping the server in Windows is working well.

Just a question about this : when I stop the server, I can read these line in the log file :
Sat Apr 18 2020 09:20:39.451000 (TID 17268): Bonjour service registered as serveur._pegase._tcp.local.
...
Sat Apr 18 2020 09:20:57.140000 (TID 15512): Bonjour service unregistered
Sat Apr 18 2020 09:20:57.141000 (TID 17268): Bonjour thread error returned -65563
Sat Apr 18 2020 09:20:57.155000 (TID 15512): Server terminated
Is it normal to read a Bonjour thread error after Bonjour service is unregistered ?

Hello Ivan,

Had you take a look at this issue ?
Sorry to bother you with that, but I'm waiting for a fix or a workaround before I can release the next release of my app. I don't like to release it if I cannot stop properly the server.
