Somewhere I'm creating a record where there should be no record. I wanted to delete additional record in Valentina Studio but it won't let me.

1. Open database, open table, select record (screenshot 1).
2. Tried to delete the record (screenshot 2).
3. Got error message (screenshot 3).

What is going on here? macOS 10.15.3, VStudio 10.4.11.

Hello Beatrix,

Is it possible that the same database is open in another application?

Nope. I moved the file to the desktop, made a fresh copy, tried to edit in the new copy and got the same error.

The database is a really tiny one. I'll make a Mantis case tomorrow.

Not really urgent, more of an oddity.

I get the same error message with the current version (12.5.2) from the Apple App Store. The Sqllite file is on the desktop. When I try to delete, change or add data, I get the error message "unable to open database file". If I open the same sqlite file with Valentina Studio from the download version it works.

Hello Wolfgang,

Could you please try to add the Desktop folder to the list of allowed locations in Valentina Studio preferences?

Thanks Sergey, I didn't even know that you can do it in Valentina's settings. I thought it would be enough if it was done in the Mac Security & Privacy settings.
