I've tryed to adapt and run the Valentina SQLite Example based on the Xojo SQLite Example. It is hard. In client mode the database is not created (i think it's maybe about the path and the rights?), in local mode the query runs in an error. Summary: Without an current example it is not useable for me. Can anybody help with a Code snippet or with experience?

Glad to head it works now.

Meanwhile we made improvements

1) WIKI page updated to use App.DB, and visual checkbox ClientMode.
2) V4RB/Examples/RBDB_way/SqliteExampleModified also redesigned to use App.DB property.
will be available in 7.0.2 hotfix.

Thank you, Stephan for finding of out-of-date issues.

Ok now it works. With the Plugin from V4RB_6 after click on "Show Sample Data" the Application crashed. With the newer one (V4RB_7) everything works fine... Yes the VServer runs local on macOS. Thank you very much, sometimes the devil is in the details... Wrong Plugin Version, i don't know...

Also you can start Vstudio, connect to that VSERVER, and create new SQLite db.

if this works from vstudio, then vserver is okay
and you must be able find your new sqlite db made by vstudio in folder

vserver/databases_sqlite

Hi Ruslan,

thank you. Is there a recommendation for this part of the ini file?

[SQLITE]
; The path, where sqlite databases are stored.
SqliteSystemCatalog=databases_sqlite

I think there is a problem with creating the database in the standard path.

Regards
Stephan

Well, you can look inside of your VSERVER folder. BTW it runs in the same machine? localhost?

anyway inside of VSERVER folder you should see folders structure:
licenses
databases
databases_sqlite

VSERVER have access to its own folder, because it write there data.
This should be okay right after installation

1) First of all Sergey have checked our ready example, which was described in this tutorial

Examples/RBDB_way/SqliteExampleModified

This example works correctly from the box.
Please try it and confirm that it works for you,

2) Sergey have found at least one mistake in text of tutorial:

mDB = new SQLiteDatabase

must be

App.DB = New SQLiteDatabase
