I have a hard time creating the correct code to establishing the Binarylink between record 1 for table A with records 2, 3 etc from table A.

There are no XOJO examples.

I am able to set the link between record X from Table A with Record Y from Table B, however the recursive link for the above I cannot create.

Any pointers would help me out tremendously.

I want to to use 100% ADK, I would be able to perform this in SQL, but that defeats my goal using 100% ADK.

Hi,

1) I see that exists example:
* Examples / API_Way / Link_Binary_Recursion

2) I think you mean that you want to use API way instead of SQL?
btw, why? SQL also is a good way :)

Well, your documentation stated that the API would be faster, isn't that the case?

Hi Ray,

Can you point page where is said API is faster, I want prof read that text.

API is faster yes, but for local DBS or fast local networks AND when you have really hot-loops.
Working with server SQL can start win and a lot.

I am using a local DB for the app I am developing, so your statement that API is faster is appropriate.

I can second the fact that the API method is blazing fast on a local DB or a fast connection to the VServer.

In the my last solution, I produced a management app for a 553 unit multi-building resort here in the Orlando area. I used API for the local DB within the app bundle and SQL when syncing with the VServer sitting on metal in the main Resort building.

Blazing fast is all I can say.
