Multi-part Reports is a highly customizable Report Type
Multi-part Reports
Multipart Reports (also known as multi-page reports or report books) let you build complex reports created with parts. Each report part of the multipart report has its own source query, regions, controls, page size, orientation, and scripts. Unlike sub-reports, all report parts are independent. Multipart Reports do not share data and there is no master-detail relation.
Each part is represented by a separate tab on the report parts tab bar in Valentina Studio.
Sub-Reports
Most modern reporting solutions offer sub-reports. A sub-report is based on the same sources and data from a main report. In Valentina Reports, any report can have a sub-report, including sub-reports.
Recursive Reports
Displaying hierarchical data is a common use for recursive hierarchies, such as displaying employees in an organizational chart. You can set a report as its own sub-report, forming a recursive report. This feature is available with all supported databases. This can be used to represent data that has a hierarchical structure.
