What are Valentina Forms?
A form is a visual database object that lets you interact with data in a database application. Most forms are bound forms in that they are associated with queries and database tables. Much like Valentina Reports, Valentina Forms are stored in a Valentina Project file. In turn, a Valentina Project can exist locally on your computer or hosted on Valentina Server.
Designing Valentina Forms require Valentina Studio Pro or higher.
Using Valentina Forms with Valentina Server
Just like Valentina Reports and Valentina Diagrams, Valentina Forms are Valentina Project objects. With the right credentials, your colleagues, customers and clients can log into Valentina Server and load a form directly with Valentina Studio Free Version. This provides significant value in deploying Valentina Forms:
- An all-purpose runtime on macOS, Windows and Linux, no matter what operating system Valentina Server is running on
- A royalty free runtime that just requires it is installed on the target computer
- No limit to the number of seats that can be deployed at no additional cost
