Hi,

we have a problem with the execution of a query on mysql and on mariadb.

The same query executed on the two database server has different result ( of course the table are the same on both database server ): the difference
is on the "order by" clause.

I think this different behavior is related to this post

https://mariadb.com/kb/en/library/why-is-order-by-in-a-from-subquery-ignored/

Anyone see this behavior ? how we can put the ORDER BY on the top-level SELECT as suggested in the post ?

Hi Enzo,

Is this query used in the report?
Please try to set sorting on that field in the report and not in the query, that way it will be on the top level.

Hi Sergey,

yes, the query is used in the report and your solution works like a charm.

Thank you!
