Решено Valentina Studio logging into AWS MySQL errors.

OK. I'm trying to log into a MySQL database on AWS. I've verified user and password and port and inbound security rules on AWS. All is proper and I get an error saying password not accepted using password YES. It seems like Valentina isn't sending the correct password. Help?

I figured out that the connection timeout was too low and once I increased that, it solved the problem. Thanks!

Is it AWS or RDS? Please add details - what error message do you get, what OS is used, what version of MySQL?

I am unable to connect to my MySQL server over ssh as well. I have also verified all passwords / ssh keys used are proper. Too bad, I was hoping to purchase a pro license for this product assuming it worked.

Can't reproduce it.
Could you please create a new user like 'test_user'@'%' and try to connect with it?
This error message is shown in multiple cases, not only incorrect password, so we'll check that the problem is in the password.

Running MySQL version 5.7.19 on Ubuntu. Error attached as screenshot. I have an SSH session open and 3306 allowed and rerouted.

So it is your own virtual server, not RDS.
What version of the MySQL server?
Please add the screenshot of the error message.

I can connect via console with no issue. with or without SSH tunnel using localhost or fqdn. AWS Lamp instance deployed from Bitnami stack. Any other thoughts?

Hello Charles,

Is it RDS instance?
Did you try to connect using the MySQL console utility or just another client?

When I tried AWS it worked for me, just like for ordinary servers.
