Hello,

This is related to an older posting (https://valentina-db.com/en/discussion-forums/5831-editable-view-in-a-form). Since editable views have become available, I have incorporated them into some forms.

Usually, these views work fine. But occasionally they seem to revert back to read-only? While no other changes have taken place.

I can email the sample project file and the sql doc for the table and records from the screenshot. There is 1 form, with 2 TableViews. The top TableView's source is just the table, and it editable as expected.

The bottom TableView's source is a View that should be editable but is read-only. This View is simply all of the fields from the same table - nothing is ordered or renamed, no fields from other tables. There are no links or mapping anywhere on the form.

This is in Valentina Studio Pro 9.6.4 and a PostgreSQL database.

Thanks for your help!

Hello Eleanor,

In the example, the table doesn't have a primary key.
It is the only requirement for the view/query to be editable - to select the primary key from the source table.
