Hi all, I like Valentina Studio very much. But when I work with Postgres 13 and try to parse a PLpgSQL-Function, I get problems with the Analyser of Valentina Studio. It says

12:1: Error: Alter command should specify what object to alter.

Then I can't change to another tab and the whole SQL-Tab is out of control. And that even I use the 'execute selection'-Button. The alter command is below the PLpgSQL-Script outside the selection.

A second problem is $$ ... $$ or $BODY$ ... $BODY$. Between these strings is no highlighting in the script. Will you try to change this? It would be very nice!

Best regards

Helmut

Hi Helmut,

thank you for your 2 tasks for us :)

About the ALTER. Can you add here an example of that FUNC + ALTER command after it?

May be you can easily invent "fake SQL lines", if your SQL is private. Or, report this into Mantis, and there you can add a private note.

Hi, as a workaround you may turn off this feature - Preferences/Application/Sql Editing/Static Analizer/Enable static analyzer (Experimental).

Sure, we will check and fix it ASAP. Thank you for the report.
